Police investigating after shots fired into business on Pittsburgh’s South Side
Pittsburgh law enforcement are investigating following photographs had been fired into a business enterprise on Pittsburgh’s South Aspect on Sunday afternoon.
Police responded after obtaining a ShotSpotter notification for three round fired in the 2100 block of Wharton Road just before 3 p.m.
Units arrived on scene to find all shooters involved experienced fled from the area.
Original stories explained a woman endured a gunshot wound, but law enforcement reported no victims have been reported at place hospitals.
Officers cleared just one company whose home windows experienced been shot out.
Police mentioned that witnesses inside of the retail store indicated that a shootout in between clients happened. According to witnesses, two males entered the retail outlet and began taking pictures at two other males who have been already within that fired again.
Witnesses informed police the two first shooters still left the keep in a silver sedan, and the two males within still left from the back exit and went down Carson Road.
The criminal offense scene unit is processing all evidence, which includes surveillance footage.
